This dust boot was heavily influenced by this design from @SolaFideDesignsKchttps://www.etsy.com/listing/1087706119/nighthawk-25-fein-festool-dustboot-for?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=makita+dust+boot&ref=sr_gallery-1-4&frs=1&bes=1&sts=1&organic_search_click=1If you are in the market to purchase a dust boot I recommend purchasing the version linked above as this design was truly their brainchild. That being said this model was completely designed in Fusion360 by myself and is not identical to the original design which heavily influenced this. There is a "Tolerance Test" piece you can print to see if you need to use the F3D file to change the diameter of any magnet/dowel pockets and export your STLs to print. With the chamfered corner in the lower left from left to right you have the 3mm dowel holder (part of the bolt on base) then the 3mm dowel pin alignment receiver (magnetic base) 8mm magnet hole, and 4mm magnet hole. The 8mm hole is much tighter as the magnet strength is greater. What you will need aside from the 3d Printed Parts:Up to 32 count 8mmx4mm round magnets (I had these on hand (try every other magnet hole first and add more magnets as desired to reach optimum clamping force for your application))https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075Q9YLMK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)Up to 40 count 4mmx4mm round magnets (try every other magnet hole first and add more magnets as desired to reach optimum clamping force for your application)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075PN2JSC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsUp to 4 count 3mm x18mm dowel pins ( You can probably go anywhere from 15-20mm in length and be fine but I had 3x18 on hand, and I’m only using 2 as 4 pins felt over constrained)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KFL96TQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=11 count Dust Shoe Brush (Cut to length)https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VQX6CZG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details1 count M6x12 bolt (could go up to 25mm)
