It has a magnetic dust shoe - not tested yet. The mount also has quick connect of the laser mount on the side, and a pen holder. The whole thing is mounted with M4 bolts and M4 nylock nuts. Outer measurement on my M4 nylock nut is 6.88mm so these fit really snug into the design; you'll need 17 of these. You also need 9 M4x20mm bolts with hex socket head; outer diameter on the bolt head is 7mm. 4 x M4x20mm with Phillips-head bolts to mount the toolplate to the Z-axis. Everything fits very well in this design, so it's easy to build. Magnets: you'll need some to hold the dust shoe in place. Neodym magnets - 10x1mm disc magnets are what you need.
