I've 3/8" router bits, but my Makita router RT0700CX2 comes with metric collets (7mm). On eBay, you can find 1/4" collets at an exorbitant price. So, I tried to make one by myself. Unfortunately, it didn't work out because PLA plastic is too weak and the collet broke. Printed parts inside the chuck are misaligned. SCAD / STL sizes, especially for internal dimensions, don't match with the sliced model (Slic3r 1.2). I'm done trying to do this anyway. I found that ER11 collets work well (about 0.1mm tolerance), so I'll try ER16 later. ===Update for MTAM86=== Single collet with inside diameter precisely 6.1 mm
