You'll need a 1/4" drive 1/8" single flute carbide cutting bit to use the Miter Fold base for your Makita RT0701C router with the 198987-9 Compact Router Tilt Base set at 45°. Remove the stock plastic base from the Tilt Base and replace it with the Miter Fold base. You'll need to adjust the depth of cut to get the miter fold perfectly situated to remove only the laminate from a 45° groove that it cuts on the back side of the Laminate. You may also need longer screws to attach the MF Base. The base is flipped upside down with the beveled side facing downward. This design was created using Tinkercad.
