Makita PA12 to BL14 adapter
thingiverse
Adapter to the old Makita 12v batteries (PA12). Parts needed: - original 14.4v Makita battery terminal (643850-6) - 6 "computer fan" self-tapping screws - 2 angle 6.3mm terminal connectors - 2 wires and 2 terminal contacts from the Makita battery (or 2 simple 6.3mm terminal connectors). You can use it without top part (just solder 6.3mm terminal connectors to the terminals in the drill). Buttons just for the ease of printing. It's "impossible" to take that adapter off without unscrewing these buttons. Fusion 360 shared model: https://a360.co/31YQaGl But it's not fully tested yet. After assembly, I've fit it to my Makita cordless drill, but the battery on, push the button... and smoke came out of my battery. It looks like I have a short circuit in the drill (I've not used that drill in 10 years) or the old motor requires more than 15 amps at the start (my battery has 15 amps fuse). Let me know in the comments how it work.
