A remix on theihdes's dust port to allow a 1.5" ID dust hose to connect to the branch and run up to the dust port on the saw head instead of the stock smaller diameter hose. With a 1.5" hose running up to the saw head, the removeable elbow that the stock hose connects into can be removed and the 1.5" hose can connect directly to the dust port that the stock dust bag connects to. My thinking is that this streamlines the system a bit, uses a larger diameter hose, and removes the need to plug the old inlet port on the removeable elbow connector. All in all, this dust port works great, seems to improve the dust collection a bit, and most importantly, moves the vacuum connection down to the stationary base of the saw rather than having it attached to the moving saw head.
