This is a hose clip that holds 8mm wire to 34mm O.D. vac hose. At first I thought the ones that hold the wire inside would be stronger and they are, but in my case i am taking the saw away from the hose more often than i am taking the hose away from the saw, so I use the outside clips. Decide on what's best for you.
