I aimed to revamp the existing setup because the router's vents at the bottom were compromising airflow, causing a decrease in suction power as it pushed air back into the vacuum chamber. To optimize performance, I decided to reroute airflow so that it exhausts out through the router while maintaining a sealed environment for the dust shoe's intended purpose.
