I designed a spare part for my Makita drill after its forward/reverse switch broke and refused to be fixed with glue, which ultimately proved too weak. The measurements taken from the original part were the foundation for this replacement, ensuring it fits seamlessly like the original component. Using ABS for the print has allowed this spare part to function flawlessly for over a year now.
