makita, bosch, dewalt battery adaptors
thingiverse
One year ago, I embarked on printing adaptors for my Makita batteries. I upgraded three of my personal tools to accommodate my trusty Makita batteries and helped some of my friends modify their tools to match. Recently, however, I've been asked to create similar adaptors for various other brands. So today, I add support for: * Bosch 18V * Dewalt 20V Max I printed and tested these adaptors, but unfortunately, I don't have any pictures to share just yet. The latest updates to Dewalt batteries work impressively well. Unfortunately, the Bosch adaptors require additional testing; please let me know how they perform. **Instructions** When printing with PLA, the result is a more solid structure than with ABS. First, print the adapter and then attach thin, strong conductive materials to create electrical contact with the battery wires. I used plumber metal straps from Canac: http://www.canac.ca/en/product/plumbing/... . Next, plug the wires into the tool connectors. Finally, secure the adaptor in place using a hot glue gun.
