I'm constantly fine-tuning my shop's dust collection system, and I recently created a simple adapter to connect my Makita BO5041 orbital sander to my dust collector hose. This is my third attempt at it, and I added longer neck sections so the adapter securely fits onto the sander and 1.25" hose. It works fantastically well, allowing me to lift and drag the sander around by the hose! I printed this adapter in TPU for a bit of flexibility while sanding. The printing settings were: 225 C hotend temperature, 60 C bed temperature, 35mm/s speed, with no support needed.
