I had a Makita battery with some cells that went bad. I replaced the bad cells and found the genuine BMS had bricked itself. I tried 2 genuine BMS' but neither worked. I also tried cleaning them in PCB cleaner in an ultrasonic cleaner to no avail. Thanks Makita (sarcasm). I bought a replacement BMS and modeled this PCB holder to match my housing. Spot welded the cells together and tapered the nickel strip so it would fit in the slots of the BMS. Reassembled the battery, and now it charges and works. Tested all the cells: Capacity Temp while charging Voltage after a week of sitting Internal resistance Print on it's side for maximum strength. Used generic ABS for temperature resilience.
