Makita Battery USB Power Distribution
thingiverse
This is a very simple thing which is used with the [Makita Battery Adapter](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3875426) to provide 4 USB ports with QuickCharge 3 compatibility. This means that each port may individually provide a different voltage/current depending on the requirements of the attached device. It requires a USB Power distribution Board that you can get from [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZNYV7WL), Banggood, Aliexpress, etc. I built this for use in conjunction with my TS80 portable soldering iron. You can see my case for that [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3451208). The USB board will automatically provide the soldering iron with the voltage/current that it needs. I included a Fusion 360 file and a STEP file to make it easier to make changes. Some very simple wiring is required to connect the battery, a power switch, and the power distribution board.
