This battery mount is designed specifically for Makita G series batteries, not LXT range. It enables these batteries to power various projects. For example, a portable power supply can be built as shown on my website at http://ls-homeprojects.co.uk/project-portable-bench-power-supply-ver-2/. The Makita battery terminal can be found by searching online; I purchased mine from eBay and used the part number 6438441. Assembly: Insert the Makita battery terminal, which has a snug fit. Apply glue to secure it permanently. Use m3 bolts in mounting holes. Safety: When using Lithium tool batteries, adhere to all safety precautions and ensure proper wiring to avoid short circuits. Be aware that using these batteries in this manner may void warranties.
