This is a case for an old Makita 8.4v battery. I used it to adapt to 18650 VTC6 high-current batteries. It has also a port for USB-C charging port at the bottom. Personally, my BMS was not enough, so I connected the batteries directly to contacts, bypassing BMS, its not recommended.
