Makita 4329 jigsaw rail spacer
thingiverse
Using this as a distance spacer from the rail to the cutting line of the saw. I'm employing an L-profile aluminium extrusion 40x10mm, sourced from a random Home Depot-like store. Surprisingly affordable and available in lengths of 1m and 2m. The spacer can be secured with an M3 nut/bolt to lock onto the rail - a feature that has yet to be utilized. My Makita jigsaw is positioned roughly 36mm away from the saw's edge, and the block is square-cut to match this measurement. For those who need it, a source file is available, allowing you to customize the fit for your specific jigsaw or rail setup.
