This coupling adapts the Makita 192108-A 3/4-Inch ID/1-OD dust hose to regular 2 1/2" shop vac fittings. Hose fits most Makita sanders and small power tools like their plate joiner. In one photo you can see I have covered the hose in PET wire braid to keep the hose ribs from catching on the ends of boards. Use 1 1/4" heat shrink to keep the wire loom braid from unraveling. (1" is just too small, ask me how I know.)
