Makita 18v Vacuum Wall Mount
thingiverse
I'm fed up with my Makita 18v vacuum constantly falling over, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and design a solution myself. Made from reliable ABS plastic, the original file is attached along with an updated version that includes helper disks added to the mouth opening points and where supports will form. As the initial draft was prone to detaching after 75%, the first attempt did fit the vacuum, but I may need to adjust it for a tighter fit. Two holes are drilled for mounting purposes, but if more are needed, just drill them. Update: I've added two new versions - Version 2 with supports that cover the entire design to minimize the need for additional supports in slicer software, and Version 2.1 with increased wall plate thickness to 5mm and a support from the wall plate to the cup. Print Settings: Printer: Createbot Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 15% Notes: No supports are required if using Version 2's updated design. Post-Printing Notes: Cosmetic defects were present on Version 2, but a successful test installation was performed with V2. Version 2.1 is also ready for printing.
