Housing to power a Ruideng DPH5005 boost/buck board and screen using a Makita 18V LXT battery, creating a portable benchtop power supply with adjustable voltage from 0-50V and current from 0-5A. Other compatible Ruideng boards can likely be adapted for this application. The main circuit board is secured to nylon standoffs that came with the board. Stainless steel self-tappers hold the front and end plates in place, while a rocker switch on the back plate provides an easy way to turn off power to the main board. A 10A fuse is installed between the battery and Ruideng board for added safety. The infill of this housing consists of 2.2mm aluminum sheet, which may require adjusting the gaps in each part to fit different plates. In the part file, the gaps are set at 2.4mm, a suitable value for PLA material. The Makita battery is connected using an original design socket adaptor that fits the OEM connector.
