Makita 18V battery wall mount (clean design) / holder
thingiverse
This is a holder for a makita 18V battery to organize your shop. Easy slide in and out. Other versions I've found here were not optimal (for my needs) so I've decided to design my own. This one is also a little bit more slick, design wise. Here are the features of this design: 1. Simple and compact, less plastic wasted 2. No locking mechanism, hence smooth one hand operation 3. Easy sorting with logo visible From my experience, using the "locking" mechanism of the battery (which keeps it in place in the drill) is really not necessary on a wall mount. Unless you want to use it in a moving vehicule, there's no point to add this feature to the mount. You can use 2x flat head #8 screws. Simple print, support is recommended under the overhangs, but nothing fancy. Personally I also used a denser infill where the sides could eventually snap. Part seems really durable. One of my first uploads here. Feel free to comment and feedback! Cheers
