Makita 18v Battery Holder 3Screw
prusaprinters
Remix of "Makita 18v Battery Wall Mount" by Kenny. Print with supports. Due to the base chamfer, the corners will auto-generate supports if you select “Support on build plate only”. This is not really a problem, but you can avoid it by using “For support enforcers only” and using a very small angle (even 1°) to auto-select the horizontal overhangs only. By the way, Turquoise PLA (and perhaps PETG) from Atomic Filament appears to be a nice enough color match to Makita Teal.Changelog:V11: Increased XY of part to allow for side-by-side mounting. Prior version was narrower than batteries so batteries would interfere with each other if the mounts were installed side-by-side.This remix uses 3 screws to mount the part instead of 4.The centered screw is also counterbored so that you can use the same length screw for all 3 holes. Two files are offered:“Latching” has a 3mm wall to catch the battery latch and keep the battery secure.“Not Latching” doesn't have the catch wall, so the battery is not positively retained. There's a small chamfer along the bottom external perimeter to prevent any “spread” in the first layer from exceeding the bounding box of the part. This is done to allow for side-by-side installation of these mounts without any interference. The upper screw holes are now concentric to the fillets at the top of the part. The part is a little bit longer to achieve this as well as to provide space for the catch wall.
