Making your PLA prints FLEXIBLE V2 (and ABS smoothing!)
thingiverse
An update on my previous video showcasing parts I made flexible, today I share a method to achieve this flexibility while also restoring color to treated sections. The process was tested over 24 hours to ensure durability. Yesterday's video can be found here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHhHHAQd0KI), and today's how-to tutorial is available here (http://youtu.be/lP-S3PkvBbk). For a detailed explanation, check out this video (http://youtu.be/GP36vJh3-B0). Additionally, I discovered ABS scraps from my printer which, after being soaked in a specific liquid for just two seconds, became gummy and smooth before hardening in 15 minutes. This is an interesting experiment for those with heated beds printing with ABS.
