I show you exactly where to solder a new USB port if those tracks on the board are damaged. Your Makibox D8 board will never bite the dust! When everything is soldered together perfectly, you can apply some hot glue on that new wire on the board to prevent it from pulling loose. However, I don't recommend applying hot glue directly to the soldering point because if you have to solder again in the future, it will be a real challenge... EDIT : You can also solder those points differently: • WHITE on the R2 component (on the empty side, not on the chipset side) • GREEN on the R3 component (on the empty side, not on the chipset side)
