Girlfriend Needed Travel-Sized Makeup Case She wanted a travel-sized makeup case that could hold smaller amounts of cosmetics, so I created one using parts from what she already had lying around. The design is modeled after her existing setup, with threaded components and precise tolerances to ensure they fit together perfectly. The part-to-part tolerance is 0.50mm and the thread-to-thread tolerance is 0.25mm, which was achieved by tightening different tolerances during the modeling process. However, it takes a few turns in and out to "break in" the threads before use, but once they're working correctly, they function well. Instructions for Assembly To assemble the case, I used a low infill percentage of 15% and two standard shells. To achieve a smooth interior surface, I printed the components with layer heights of 0.15mm and 0.13mm.
