Makeup pad water filter

I built this filter to purify the water in my aquarium. ### Contents - the body (tube) - two filter caps - two hose mount tubes (hose connectors) - six filter grid items - four grid spacers - three makeup pads All but hose mount connectors are printed without supports. ### Assembly 1. Apply a little oil to all threads, making it easy to screw or unscrew the filter cap and all hose mount connectors. 2. Screw one filter cap onto the filter body. 3. Place a spacer ring inside the filter body. 4. Create a sandwich of one grid, one makeup pad, and one grid. 5. Put this sandwich inside the body. 6. Repeat steps 3-5. 7. Screw the remaining filter cap. It turned out that three makeup pads are more than enough for cleaning aquarium water; one is sufficient. You can use either of two methods to print grids: - Print the grid.stl from the archive (slow) - Use Cura slicer and add grid_overlap.stl + grip_simple.stl (fast); mark grid_overlap model as an overlap model and merge it with grid_simple (see the screenshot)
