Make pasta by combining one cup of water with one tablespoon of olive oil in a large pot and placing it on medium heat until the water is hot. Then add one cup of uncooked spaghetti and stir occasionally for 8-10 minutes or until the spaghetti is al dente, which means it still has a bit of firmness to it. Once cooked, drain the spaghetti and return it to the pot with one tablespoon of butter or margarine and toss until the pasta is well coated.
