I am still perfecting this project. To make progress, I started with MakeSmith's files and rebuilt their spindle mount from scratch. Next, I optimized it to have only one spot for a 1/4-20 nut, relocating that single spot to the machine's central location. Currently, all parts should be able to print without any supports. Instructions: So far, printing all components without support structures has been successful.
