MakerWare 2.2 - 200 Micron Bracelet Profile
thingiverse
Finally, I decided to experiment with custom profiles in MakerWare Slicer and grew tired of switching between RepG and MakerWare for creating intriguing items like this bracelet. Check out http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:13505 for the bracelet's STL file. I thought it would be helpful to provide a working .2mm layer height profile instead of mocking those who struggled with it. Now, print stretchy bracelets and single-wall items without roof or floor using MakerWare! Version 2.2 of MakerWare and firmware 7.3 work best. Enjoy! Update: I also adjusted some anchor settings to enhance the initial extrusion, creating a nice line of plastic before starting the print. This helps prevent de-lamination and keeps the bracelet from unraveling over time. To use this profile, simply download the zip file, uncompress it, move the folder to MakerWare's profile directory, and you're good to go!
