MakerTron-prinPLA-Kit1 is the first printable plastic model designed by prinPLA. It was inspired by a space suit and the Apollo 13 mission. I'm excited to share that I've created Kit2, which can be found here: https://pinshape.com/items/12130-3d-printed-makert... MakerTron-prinPLA-Kit1 was developed with MakerTron LTD. and prinPLA Corp. Its primary goal is to support astronauts during extravehicular activities outside the spacecraft. The model is designed for general-purpose work in a humanoid setting, while also adhering to the Three Laws of Robotics. It features built-in safety devices against accidents and an auxiliary propulsion system for space exploration. Additionally, MakerTron-prinPLA-Kit1 can serve as a reliable babysitter. I'm passionate about traditional modeling techniques that allow for precise control over vertex manipulation. My 3D models are optimized for FDM printing, with a focus on achieving high-quality results. Two ZIP files are available: one without supports and another with pre-designed support structures to enhance print success. Both files require Slicer support for optimal performance. To achieve the best results, I recommend using the following Print Slicer (Cura) settings: Layer Height: 0.2mm Shell thickness: 1.2mm Bottom/Top thickness: 1.2mm Fill Density: 20% Print Speed: 50mm/s Support type: Everywhere Platform adhesion type: Raft Filament Type: ABS (Natural) Please note that some post-processing, such as polishing or bonding, may be necessary depending on your printing setup.
