MakerSlider Camera Slider
thingiverse
The MakerSlider is a DIY, Arduino-controlled video camera slider that can be easily transported and attached to a tripod. It features makerslide rails for smooth linear motion and all parts can be printed using a 3D printer. The Cinemaker Pocket Dolly, version 2.0 of MakerSlider, is available on Thingiverse at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42521. Although still in progress, the manual version is functional with plans for enhancements like stronger endcaps and a non-slip tripod mount. Future iterations will incorporate stepper motors for full automation. Design elements are inspired by Bart Dring's original makerslide camera slider project at http://www.buildlog.net/wiki/doku.php?id=ms:ms_slider.
