Makerslide Dual Extruder mount for Budaschnozzle Hot End
thingiverse
I'm constructing a Mendel Max comprised entirely of Makerslide for X, Y, and Z axes, opting for dual extrusion due to its larger build area. I love my Budda printer's quality, so I combined Lulzbot TAZ's dual extruder modification (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:106147) with a standard Makerslide carriage in SketchUp for improved output. The design prints smoothly, but my large Mendel Max build is still in progress. If you have suggestions, please share; the extruders and gears are available on Lulzbot Taz's page since they're identical. An update: I significantly improved the merging of these two components.
