MakerSL Acrylic Laser Cut (or 3D Printed) Business Card Holder
thingiverse
This is a Laser Cut Business Card Holder, however I have uploaded STL's so you can 3D Print it as well. It was designed around using 3mm Acrylic Sheet and as you can see the color variants make for a really cool project. I think you could use transparent filament too and get similar effects. If you do 3D Print one, please share your "make" so we can see how it turns out. I used M3x12mm screws on my (four stack) holder. SHCS are used in the photo however they're being replaced by FHSC as soon as I have time to countersink the Front plate. The Mid Section is stackable, adjust the screw length based on the number of Mid Sections (2 Mids use a 12mm screw). If you don't have a countersink, I suggest Button Head Screws, and would also suggest Stainless Steel or cad plated over black oxide like I used. If you print this and use BHSC just turn the countersunk side inward so the screw has a flat face to sit on. FYI: The DFX files do not look correct in the preview, however, I have downloaded them directly from this site and verified them - they are indeed correct. If you download them and they don't translate correctly please let me know... Edit: 4-25-2016, Added photo of holder with Flat Head Screws.
