&makers Inline skate wheel 70mm rubber + ABS / PLA / NYLON
pinshape
This is a simple design for an inline skate wheel that can be printed with a double extruder using rubber and ABS, PLA or NYLON for the inside core. Alternatively, you can use an old rim to rework the wheel with resin like Sintagom 703/80, which results in a Shore A hardness of 80-82. Updated Mold On September 4th, 2015, I uploaded a new mold design for the rubber, featuring a better degassing system and reduced plastic usage. Each part of the mold weighs approximately 50g when printed with 30% infill and four perimeters using PLA. Molding Data for Sintagom The mold itself weighs 100g, while the wheel weighs 44.2g. The rubber component adds an additional 26.5g, bringing the total weight of the wheel to 70.7g. For molding with Sintagom, you will need approximately 30g of part A and 12g of part B, allowing for a bit of excess material to ensure a secure fit.
