MakerPlane 5" LCD EFIS Case for Raspberry Pi

This is a remix of a 5" touch screen HDMI case for the raspberry pi 3 or 4. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1510293 It has been engineered to also fit buttons and rotary encoders when it gets bumpy! The case uses the 5" MakerPlane Sunlight Readable Display which is capable of 1100 nits brightness. Enough to see the screen even when direct sunlight is on it. This screen was manufacturered to MakerPlane specifications and can only be found in the MakerPlane store. It is perfect for any bright environment, particularly for instruments in cars, motorbikes, boats and planes. It has holes on the back to screw on a RAM Mount. There are a couple that can be 3D printed on Thingiverse, but best to get a metal one from RAM. It is very solid mounted in the aircraft. http://store.makerplane.org/ The screen can also be used with other single board computers such as the Banana Pi, BB Black and so on using the HDMI connector.
