MakerLab Chess Set

In Spring 2013, Lab Gurus Danny and Ryan designed this unique chess set. Although the chess board isn't uploaded, it was also created by them. The chess pieces were printed using a Makerbot Replicator 2 with 3 layers and 0% infill. A hole is positioned on each piece for adding weight at the bottom. To finish, felt should be added to the models. The chess board features resized calibration cubes from Makerware glued onto a plywood square; individual tiles measure 1.5 x 1.5 inches.
