MakerHawk Raspberry Pi camera mount
thingiverse
This is a custom mount designed specifically for the MakerHawk Raspberry Pi Camera IR Fisheye lens, which can be found on Amazon at https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07DRH5Y5S. The base plate that attaches to a 2020 profile frame was adapted from a design found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3809015. To secure the lens in position, I used arms inspired by another design on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:434600, but with a crucial modification - a recess was added to accommodate an M3 nut for extra grip. To print this mount, you'll need three long arms and two short arms, along with one of each other part. Compared to existing designs, my version offers several improvements: 1) Multiple arms provide enhanced stability. 2) Strategic recessions in key parts enable the secure use of M3 nuts. 3) This design is tailored specifically for this particular lens model, addressing a gap in available options. 4) The rear section features extensive open space and perforated walls to facilitate optimal cooling.
