Makergear M2 Z axis hard end stop

Makergear M2 Z axis hard end stop

The Makergear M2 features hard end stops for X and Y axes; however, the Z-axis can potentially push past its switch, disrupting Z adjustments. To rectify this issue, print a part that attaches to the Z-axis guide rod as a stop measure. I printed mine in PLA at .25mm layer thickness with 20% infill on an M2; post-processing involved Netfab cleanup for seamless slicing. Customize the 23mm height to suit your setup by scaling the Z-axis dimension, and easily snap it onto the guide rod for installation.
