MakerGear M2 stepper driver cooling duct
thingiverse
Initially, the stepper drivers seemed to overheat during printing due to a misplaced fan within the electronics enclosure that cooled something other than the driver chips. To remedy this issue, I used a 10 mm anodized aluminum pipe with 3.5mm holes aligned to each stepper driver for proper airflow and secured it with a printed plug. The improved cooling system appears effective, but further temperature measurements are necessary to confirm its efficiency. The fan was purchased from pollin.de (direct link: http://www.pollin.de/shop/dt/MzY2OTc2OTk-/Bauelemente_Bauteile/Luefter/Radialluefter_DELTA_BFB0512HH.html).
