The combination of this and a PTFE guide tube has eliminated nearly all drag on the filament drive experienced when using "grippy" filaments such as ninjaflex. It utilizes the same mounting location and hardware from the original Makergear spool holder, requiring only an M10x60 Bolt, an M10 Nylock nut, and 2x 6200RS ball bearings to be purchased. The bearings and bolt fit together seamlessly, creating a solid fit with minimal play. Note: the spool spindle in this one is slightly modified from the other one, featuring a fillet added at the base of the fingers for enhanced strength. Printing this out of PLA is not recommended due to its low durability; the fingers broke within weeks under normal use.
