This new spool holder design reduces filament stress and x-axis strain for the MakerGear M2 printer. Downloadable project documentation in PDF format is available, with all components sourced from the printer itself. Prototypes were made using PLA, which works effectively. Ensure models are correctly oriented for slicing. A G-code file prints six parts on an M2 Printer within 3.5 hours. Recommended upright and crossbar materials include 1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe (available for $1.25) or printed alternatives from provided .STL files. Print settings suggested for optimal performance.
