Makergear M2 + Mosaic Pallette2 feed adapter
thingiverse
Instead of awkwardly attaching the included adapter by force, a single-part clip is designed to snap seamlessly onto a Makergear M2 extruder assembly. This clip expertly accepts both the grommet and feed tube for a Mosaic Palette 2. The clip fits snugly in place, requiring no additional effort or adhesives. To ensure a secure fit, use a springy filament like PETG, ABS, or PC. I opted to print mine with Priline's CF-filled PC, which works exceptionally well for this application. PLA might not provide enough flexibility to securely grasp the extruder motor housing. Print the clip in the specified orientation, eliminating the need for support structures. A quick clean-up is all that's required before pressing the grommet into place and inserting the medium feed tube. The assembly then simply snaps down onto the top of the extruder motor, aligning perfectly with the M2's extruder guide. No extra adhesives or attachments are necessary to secure the clip in place.
