I engineered this housing as an electrical controller for maintenance LED strip lights fastened to the right hand Z-stage frame of my MakerGear M2 printer. The illumination system supplies lighting for lubricating and cleaning the z-axis mechanism, guides and leveling adjustment during stops, and for the duration of off-line upkeep instead of the "operational" lights also installed which employ relays allowing processor-initiated turns of the work lights at varied stages of printing potentially based on sensor readings. Remote control capabilities for operational lighting are still in development but have preliminary wiring for later integration with external interface systems. Instructions: This housing was conceived and modelled by utilizing AutoCAD software and my eyeballs to get the best possible result, also utilized FreeCAD application which helps design better outcomes using rotating stl for 3D printing minimizing unnecessary support during production of this housing which fits onto one ten mm penetration from front surface with one power output connector of eight mm DC type in reverse for connecting push-button switch also features mounting hole that accepts all threading type rod on M2's right z stage bracket giving you lots flexibility installing any kind accessories. It has provisions to insert other elements through drilled holes including another 8mm pen on its rear. This particular enclosure requires one point of fastening only - attaching the nylon-lined locknut which encloses it internally along top, whereas all other connections rest secure thanks this setup that uses countersinking mechanism. Printing guidelines include supporting (support materials minimal), especially for counter sink location of said locknut piece needed within this object making successful 3D modeling very rewarding.
