I designed an alternate case to the standard LCD cover, opting out of its lackluster original form. This version retains four stock bolts for mounting but replaces the traditional nuts with a more convenient setup that utilizes M2 threads. The new assembly consists of two 10mm-long M4 bolts and corresponding washers. To prevent damage during print-out due to material shrinkage in ABS plastic, users should adjust their designs to accommodate potential dimensional shifts caused by PLA filament. The recommended printing parameters are as follows: Rafts: Doesn't matter how much raft material you add or don't use for this model. This setting won't significantly impact the final outcome. Raft dimensions do not need precise attention due to its insignificant effect on overall print quality. Supports: Due to minimal thickness of individual LCD screen components, no support structure is necessary for maintaining object stability and smooth removal post-printing. Resolution: .2 mm precision resolution ensures clear details, especially along curved edges of the custom case where standard models often lack. Achieving fine prints can help bring this model into sharp focus when handling with other similarly-made parts from different manufacturers. Infill: Using a minimum of twenty percent infill helps improve structural stability and maintain structural support without sacrificing aesthetic qualities associated with hollow parts. Notes: PLA material, specifically known for being slightly prone to contraction as it cools down from molten state, requires adjustment for accurate alignment between components. For instance, a printed piece out of ABS may shrink, thereby needing re-adjustments in assembly and calibration post-production.
