Decorative faceplate designed specifically for the MakerGear M2 securely clips to the front of the frame, holding itself firmly in place throughout use. The iconic MakerGear logo is presumed to be a trademark exclusively owned by MakerGear, Inc., located at http://www.makergear.com. Instructions For Best Results To achieve optimal performance, it's recommended that this faceplate is printed using a tough yet somewhat flexible plastic like ABS or PET. In contrast, the clips might be too brittle for use with PLA. Some support underneath the curved edge is suggested; conversely, the clips can print successfully with or without additional support. The accompanying files include both the OpenSCAD source and the necessary DXF files, upon which this design heavily depends. The DXF files in question were generated utilizing Inkscape, based on a technique meticulously described by polymaker in thing 14221.
