Makergear M2 Extruder Motor Fan Mount 60mm
thingiverse
Keeping the extruder motor cool makes a huge difference when your entire extruder mount is made from 3D printed plastic, helping to keep it consistently cooler which should lead to more consistent prints and less likely for them to fail. Uses two existing bolts that hold the X endstop block in place - only parts needed are a sixty-millimeter fan and two 3 millimeter screws long enough to go through the fan and into the bracket. The holes in the bracket are twenty-nine-point-five millimeters, so three millimeter screws will easily fit into them without needing any additional parts. My sixty-millimeter fan is only about five centimeters deep with a hole center-to-center distance of seven point two five centimeters; a shallower depth fan would be even lighter and still get the job done, but this one happened to be available for free from a broken server power supply that I had lying around. With this twenty-five millimeter fan you will need thirty millimeter long three millimeter screws.
