Makergear M2 Dual Extruder Fan Shroud

Makergear M2 Dual Extruder Fan Shroud

This is an enhanced version of the fan shroud for the latest model (Dec 2016) of the Makergear M2 with Dual Extruders.\nAll my prints used to have a significant quality difference between the side facing the fan and the side facing away from it. The original fan shroud design by jsc solved all these problems, but it would sometimes scrape along the small clamps that hold down the print plate, which could in some cases cause the motor to skip. I fixed all these issues by reducing the total height of the shroud and made a few minor changes to the interior (mostly fillets).\nIt comes in two parts, but assembling it is very easy with some hot glue.\nJust like the previous version, this prints without support. My suggestion is to rotate the model by 30 degrees along the x-axis and add a skirt.\nTo install it on the printer, remove the covers from both fans and screw the assembled fan shroud to the top fan. To attach the part-cooling fan, you can use either screws or tape - whatever you prefer best. I used only tape for quick prototyping. Printer Brand: MakerGear Printer: MakerGear M2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.150 Infill: 20% Notes: I rotated the print 30 degrees along the x-axis (so the flat extruder-facing side touches the build plate) and added a 1-layer skirt with 10 outlines.
