This dial indicator slider is built on top of a phone clamp, allowing for a quick setup of the dial indicator without having to mess with the hotend. You'll need: 1. Phone clamp: https://goo.gl/dVhf8b 2. PTFE mouse disks: https://goo.gl/PzNsJC 3. 1/4"-20 thread: https://goo.gl/p892Vn My measurement of the dial indicator mount was a little off, and I needed to add another set of brackets on top to clear the screw nuts on the underside of the X axis frame. The Turlen brand fit perfectly, but you can use any bracket that suits your needs. The STP files for the bracket are included, feel free to improve them. Make sure the PTFE is a perfect fit to the thickness of your X axis frame. My M2 printer is a first-generation model from 2013, so measure twice and print once to ensure accuracy. Assemble Instruction: Print four pieces of sliders and the dial indicator mount. Attach the mount to the phone clamp with a 1/4"-20 screw and epoxy the brackets as shown in the picture. Finally, apply PTFE to all three interior walls of the slider. Installation Instruction: Move the print head to the far right and attach the clamp on the X axis frame.
