To reduce noise, I opted for a larger 80mmx15 24V fan compared to the standard 40mm one. I mounted it on the duct and covered the smaller fan with a custom grill. Both grill and flange were made from PLA, secured by CA Superglue and JB Weld respectively for bonding.
