MakerGear M2 1.75mm Filament Drive Split Design

thingiverse

I encountered an issue with the MakerGear M2's filament drive that would cause it to jam, locking the hotend into the groove mount. To solve this problem, I divided the design into two parts, enabling easier removal of the groove mount for clearing jams without having to forcefully break the filament drive. Modifications were made using Autodesk 123D Design (*.123dx format). You can find the maintained project at github.com/leandog/M2 and follow the instructions tab for assembly. To assemble, attach two pieces together with M3x20 screws and nuts.
