I built this fix after my Y-axis end stop suddenly collided with the heat bed. I swiftly yanked out the cord and managed to salvage it. This design still needs some refinement, but I've been using it for about six months now without any issues arising. In addition, I employed a nylon washer underneath the nut where it meets the end stop. You can probably create one yourself if you need to. How I Created This To get started, I utilized calipers and took precise measurements.
